Powerful Tools for Caregivers Class

The WCA Home was proud to host a six-week class presented by the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging. The WCA Home provided respite care for the loved ones during the class so that the caregivers could benefit from the information presented. It is such an important topic! If anyone is interested in attending future presentations on this topic, please contact the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging in Mayville, NY at (716) 753-4726.

Thank you School 7!

For Grandparents Day in March, some of our residents went to school 7 in Dunkirk as adoptive grandmothers. It was a fun morning for the ladies and the kids were great! Thank you to Barb Jones, Activity Director, for keeping our residents involved in the community.

2016 Easter Fun!

We had such a fun Easter here!  There was a visit from the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt in the front parlors and a delicious Easter meal prepared and donated by Nettie Puleff.  Mother Nature contributed some pretty nice weather too!
